Budo-Camp-2023 Sri lanka
A martial arts training camp with over 300 participants took place in Sri Lanka from 18 to 21 October 2023. After the traditional Singalese opening ceremony, the Budo training camp started on 18 October 2023 with 17 instructors and over 300 participants in Sri Lanka. Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido was already represented with a team of speakers in Sri Lanka in 2006. Most of the speakers came from Sri Lanka with different styles. Yoga and the very old Angampora from Sri Lanka are of particular interest to Europeans. In addition to the Atemi Combat System with several instructors, 4 other martial arts styles and instructors from Germany were also represented. There was something for everyone, with Tatsu-Ryu-Bushido focussing on weapons training with the middle and long stick due to most of the unarmed systems. The interest of the participants was very high, and a welcome change from the numerous unarmed techniques. The highlight on Saturday was the martial arts show, which was also broadcast live on the internet worldwide. All in all, a very nice international exchange!
