Course structure:

The sessions are conducted in small groups, with individual adaptation to existing complaints. Each exercise is carefully instructed and can be modified depending on the indication.

The aim of the therapeutic yoga course is to improve physical functioning, reduce complaints in the long term and increase quality of life – scientifically based and medically supervised.

Scientific evidence:

Eine Metaanalyse (Cramer et al., Annals of Internal Medicine, 2017)

shows that yoga significantly contributes to the reduction of chronic back pain and improves physical function.

Studies show positive effects of yoga on the cardiovascular system, including lowering blood pressure and improving heart rate variability (American Journal of Hypertension, 2019).

Randomised controlled trials confirm the effectiveness of yoga for anxiety disorders, depression and stress management by regulating the autonomic nervous system (JAMA Psychiatry, 2020).

Therapeutic yoga is recommended by the World Health Organisation (WHO) and increasingly also in medical guidelines as a complementary measure.
